Getting started

How to install

Clapsync is a native Premiere Pro extension. Install it in a couple of minutes following the steps for your system.

🍎 macOS

  1. Download and unzip clapsync-beta.zip.
  2. Quit Adobe Premiere Pro.
  3. Copy the com.clapsync.panel folder to: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/ (create the extensions folder if it doesn't exist).
  4. First time only, enable unsigned extensions. In Terminal: defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.11 PlayerDebugMode 1 defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.12 PlayerDebugMode 1
  5. Open Premiere and go to Window → Extensions → Clapsync.

🪟 Windows

  1. Download and unzip clapsync-beta.zip.
  2. Quit Adobe Premiere Pro.
  3. Copy the com.clapsync.panel folder to: C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
  4. First time only, in the Registry Editor under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.11 (and CSXS.12) create a string value PlayerDebugMode set to 1.
  5. Open Premiere and go to Window → Extensions → Clapsync.
